Roberto Fonseca is considered to be the most important Cuban pianist of his generation. Now he’s heading out on a tour of Germany, Spain, the UK, Switzerland and Austria. Fonseca has played with legends like Omara Portuondo, Guajiro Mirabal and Cachaito Lopez, as well as playing an immeasurable part in the development of contemporary Cuban music. He will be touring his latest release Yesun along with his trio band.
Six years after his first solo performance at Jazz à la Villette, Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca makes his return with his latest album Yesun, shared between traditional Havana rhythms and bursts of funk.
