Melody Gardot, Roberto Fonseca and Marcus Miller are the featured artists of the new edition of Barcelonnette Jazz Festival (France). The festival takes place July 26th and 27th in Sapinière. A new edition is that adults may participate in a five-day workshop as part of the festival. more here.

On Monday, April 8, pianist Roberto Fonseca gave a charismatic concert at Cully Jazz Festival. A recital led by a true alchemist of sound, balanced Fonseca’s acoustic sounds, evanescent electronic sounds with radio tunings. His hands gracefully alternated between the electronic keyboard and piano with an accuracy like a true virtuoso. Here the full post.

Jazz in Marciac, celebrates its 35 year history as one or the premier performances spaces on the planet. As in years past festival organizers have established an amazing line up of talent including: Wayne Shorter, Diana Krall, Ahmad Jamal, George Benson, Paco de Lucia, Roberto Fonseca and Wynton Marsalis. The year begins with Roberto and his group travelling to Tokyo for limited performances in celebration of his YO release being distributed by King Record Co., Ltd. Japanese première of YO
